Welcome lovely people.

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog.

I have wanted to start a blog for such a long time, so here goes. My first post on this big internet world, it feels so surreal but the most exciting and fun thing I have done.

I am currently studying Fashion Communication and Promotion at Nottingham Trent University. I was very nervous at first at the thought of being away from home. Leaving that comfort blanket that I had held on to for so long was a scary process but it was so worth it. Fashion has always been a big part of what makes me who I am, the one thing that I truly feel identifies me so being asked to start this blog as part of my course was something I jumped at the chance for. It gave me that push to just go for it. So here goes! Buckle up and join this fun ride with me.

For my first post I wanted to introduce myself to you guys and I thought, what better way than to give you some facts about me.

1. What is your favourite hobby?

Very unoriginal, considering this is going to be a fashion and lifestyle blog but one of my biggest hobbies is anything fashion. Keeping up with different Instagram fashion bloggers is one of my favourite things to do. My absolute favourite blogger is Laura from Laura's Little Locket. Her style is so timeless, classic and beautiful and she has and continues to inspire me a lot. Also, who doesn't want to buy new clothes, right? I also enjoy excercise a lot. I like to do it whenever I can but pilates, cardio or toning workouts would be what I enjoy the most.

2. I love...

My family and my friends mean everything to me. Spending time with my Mom and my sister is one of the things that make me the most happy. Also shout out to my close friends Allen and Rachel who I've just been catching up with on FaceTime! I love all my friends loads, old or new and love spending time with them and catching up with them. I also have a thing for perfume, I just love it! Also we cannot forget the Arctic Monkeys and I will not Snap Out Of It.... get it?! Bad joke.. moving swiftly on.

3. I look up to?

I look up to my Mom a lot as she has always been there for me, she has such a kind and beautiful soul and I always feel happy around her. The same goes for my sister, she makes me laugh so much too.

4. Something embarassing that has happened to me?

The first thing that springs to mind (I am cringing at the thought of this already) was slipping over and falling right on to the floor on my way back from the Sixth Form canteen. The poor people in front were having a nice conversation and then there goes me. I mean, I was absolutely fine but I wish I could say the same thing about half of my cake that came crashing down with me!

5. What kinds of TV shows and music do I like?

I love all the classics like Hollyoaks, Emmerdale and Coronation Street but I also used to be a massive lover of Doctor Who and hands down, David Tennent was the best! I also love anything that Anna Friel stars in as she is my all time favourite actress. Marcella was one of my huge favourites. Music wise, I pretty much love anything. However I love the Arctic Monkeys and was lucky enough to see them in concert twice in September 2018. It was an absolute blast. I'm pretty down with grime music too, got to love a bit of MoStack and Skepta! Although I am also very fond of older music such as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and definitely a bit of Runaround Sue by Dion, that is one of my favourites.

That was just a few facts about me and some of the things that I really love and I hope it helps to give you guys a bit more of an insight into who I am.
