My monthly round up

Hi everyone, I hope you have all had a lovely Wednesday.

I thought that I would introduce something new and a little bit different to my blog. I thought I would do a monthly round up of some of the new pieces of clothing I have bought each month. I thought it would be quite nice to share the types of styles I like and talk about it a little bit.

There is a particular fashion blogger that I love a lot and I love to take some inspiration from her style and outfits. She is called Laura Byrnes (Laura's Little Locket) and recently she posted an outfit featuring a camel coat. This really got me thinking as camel coats are such a staple in any wardrobe, it is a classic piece that is perfect for autumn/winter. She was wearing it with some faux leather trousers, a black turtle neck and some beautiful snake skin boots. I really wanted to put my own flair on it and create my own outfit centred around a camel coat.

One of my favourite stores to shop at is ASOS so I went straight on and started to browse what camel coats they had to offer. I came across a utility style camel coat with large pockets and I absolutely loved it, I felt like the style was a bit different and was a bit more interesting but still very classic. I also thought it would be a great piece to last in my wardrobe too.

I was also in need of some new jeans. I love mom jeans, I would say it is my favourite style of jean. However, I found a nice pair of straight leg jeans called the Florence jean which are made out of some recycled materials! They are also part of the 'eco edit' which I thought was a really cool concept!

I have also noticed that hair accessories are very popular at the moment ranging from pearl hairclips to large, statement headbands. I saw one on my favourite blogger, it is a very statement black velvet one so I had to snap that up too as I am a huge fan of hair accessories myself at the moment!

Finally, I purchased a plain, black turtle neck as I thought, you cant go wrong with these at this time of the year and they are perfect for layering!

I thought I would include some photos of the pieces I bought along with a picture of how I styled the items.

I hope you enjoyed this new type of blog post - thank you for reading everyone,

Niamh x
